How to Remove Exhaust Fan Mesh from Your Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf’s exhaust fan mesh is a feature that’s been around for a long time, but now you can use it for more than just ventilation.

Nissan said that the mesh can be removed by unscrewing the base of the fan’s metal plate, as shown below.

Then, the Nissan Leaf can be used to remove the fan mesh as shown in the picture below.

If you’re looking to make your Leaf more eco-friendly, you can install a new fan mesh that will only be required to be used with the car’s EcoBoost powertrain.

In addition, Nissan says that a new mesh can also be used on certain trim levels.

To remove the mesh, simply slide the metal plate out of the way.

You should then be able to remove it by simply sliding the fan in the correct direction.

If the fan is still attached, you’ll need to unscrew it as shown above, which is a simple and quick process.

The mesh can then be removed with a flathead screwdriver.

If using the new mesh, you won’t be able use it to change the color of the exhaust fan.

Instead, it will only work with a specific model, as seen in the photo below.

In the case of the 2017 Nissan Leaf, Nissan said it will install a mesh in 2017 models, but it’s unclear when exactly that change will take place.

In other words, you may have to wait for 2019 models to be fitted with the mesh.
